If the dad was a nasty man, he might beat him. If I were Brendan, and my dad threatened to beat me up, I would get a lot of my allowance money along with money from his wallet, and run away. I would leave a note in the wallet saying, "See Dad, you didn't get hurt from me taking this money, so I suppose it's ok." I would look for a really nice person that doesn't like my father, explain to him/her my dilema, and ask for help. If I had to, I might tell the police about my dad. But Brendan shouldn't argue with his dad, or threaten him; he shouldjust tell him, and if he dosen't listen...the picture and not trusting plan would be better.
