I didn’t really celebrate Mother’s Day. I got my mom a card and a box of chocolates, but we didn’t really do anything. We just went to Jamaican Grill and we weren’t even wearing fancy clothes. I got a steak and shrimp combo with a side of a 1/4 chicken because I was super hungry and had no breakfast. It was also a very late lunch. I don’t regard Mother’s Day and Father’s Day as very important. That’s why we didn’t do much. I think it is just something that a crazy old lady made up as a way to get gifts every year aside from all the other holidays. I think that we need Holocaust Day on the day that the concentration camp, Auschwitz, was liberated. I think we need it to commemorate all the people (soldiers, victims, and people who helped refugees) who risked/gave their lives during World War II.

She had a good {> you know, Issac.
I like the idea of Holocaust Day being more like a holiday.
I would have the United Nations Day as a holiday, myself, because it promotes tolerance and world peace and it reminds us what we can accomplish when we work together.
Yes, all those people do need to be remembered.
(When was Auschwitz/Osciewiem liberated? Sorry I can’t write Central European coding here.)
